Case Study:
Kilworth House Hotel

The Challenge:

When we arrived at hotels lake, the entire water surface was hidden beneath a dense overgrowth of aquatic reeds.

This not only diminished the lake's aesthetic appeal but also impacted its functionality as a key feature of the hotel's landscape. The overgrown reeds had taken over, leaving the water invisible and the surrounding environment looking neglected.

Our Solution:

To tackle this extensive growth, we deployed our versatile Truxor amphibious machine, specifically designed for managing aquatic vegetation. The Truxor efficiently removed the thick reeds, restoring access to the water’s surface.

Once the reeds were grubbed out with the root system, our team used a digger to extract the material from the lake's edges. Finally, we utilised a dumper to transport the removed reeds to a designated location on-site, ensuring the entire process was handled efficiently and with minimal disruption to the hotel grounds.

The Results:

Our reed removal operations transformed the lake’s appearance, successfully removing the overwhelming growth of aquatic reeds. For the first time in years, the water’s surface was visible, restoring the lake’s natural beauty and enhancing its appeal as a tranquil feature for hotel guests.
