Halliford Mere Fishery 

The Challenge:

When we arrived at this fisheries lake, it was completely overgrown with Hornwort, an invasive aquatic weed that had covered the entire surface of the water.

Our Solution:

The most effective and efficient solution for us was using the Truxor amphibious machine, we used the Truxor to cut and clear nearly 4 acres of the weed from the lake.

We created piles of the removed weed along the banks of the lake. This allowed any displaced insects to return to the water, minimizing the impact on the lake's ecosystem.

The Results:

Our cutting and clearing efforts successfully removed the dense growth of aquatic weed, restoring access for members to fish the lake once again. This also helped improve water quality, creating a healthier environment for the fish.
