Case Study:
Domestic Client - Wrexham

The Challenge:

Simply Aquatic were contacted to help with tackling a large growth of reeds in Wrexham, which had spread out into the water cutting sections off. The lake was very shallow due to the way it had been designed therefore the water column had filled with root mass.

Our Solution:

The Truxor machine was deployed to remove the reeds with as much of the root system and silt as possible. The removed vegetation was piled up in 2 locations close to the edge.

The removed vegetation was then left for 1 week, the material was then moved to a separate location, all undertaken in house.

The Results:

The lake was left clear with some perimeter vegetation to encourage nesting birds and promote the biodiversity within the area. Original depths of the lake have been restored.
